Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme

The SEATS course gives construction personnel a clear understanding of their environmental duties on site. It covers practical topics such as pollution control, responsible waste handling, energy reduction, and key environmental laws. Learners gain the skills to minimise environmental impact, manage site risks, and support sustainable working practices. Suitable for supervisors, managers, and site workers looking to improve environmental awareness and compliance.

Site Environmental Awareness Training

When organisations manage their environmental responsibilities effectively, they can benefit from reduced costs, a stronger reputation, and increased interest from potential investors. This course is designed for workers who want to deepen their understanding of environmentally responsible practices. It aims to build awareness of environmental factors that may influence their organisation’s operations.

The environmental awareness course is delivered over one day and is ideal for staff with supervisory or managerial duties. It equips them with the essential environmental knowledge expected within the subcontracting chain and often required by major contractors. The programme also addresses the environmental components included in the new touchscreen Health, Safety, and Environment test. SEATS training from CITB uses case studies and classroom-based learning to help participants understand and apply key environmental principles.
